Dorset Fertility offers a complete private service to help aspiring parents overcome both Male and Female infertility problems.
Services offered include IVF/ICSI [1], fertility investigation and treatment and both fertility and early pregnancy scanning, which can all be accessed locally.
Clinic appointments to see Mr Julian Pampiglione MD FRCOG, Consultant Gynaecologist and Fertility specialist, are available at The Fertility Clinic, Nuffield Health Bournemouth Hospital and the BMI Harbour Hospital, Poole.
Services offered include:
- IVF/ICSI treatment (satellite to IVF unit at the Nuffield Health Woking Hospital). Success rates can be seen here.
- Male and Female infertility - Full Investigation and treatment including ovulation, PCOS and sperm problems.
- General fertility scanning including monitoring for IVF and egg donation treatments elsewhere.
- Early pregnancy scanning (up to 12 weeks).
- Recurrent miscarriage - Investigation and treatment.
Gynaecology consultant Mr Julian Pampiglione, who has over 30 years' experience in the fertility field directs the programme. He has been involved in fertility and IVF in London, Singapore, Southampton and Dorchester.
Dorset Fertility also offers expertise in the investigation and management of the distressing problems of threatened miscarriage and recurrent miscarriage. You can also receive an expert opinion on the management of gynaecological endocrine (hormonal) problems and in the management of Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (both fertility and non-fertility management).
[1] As an official HFEA satellite unit, patients needing IVF/ICSI can have all their consultations, tests and monitoring locally at the Bournemouth Nuffield and have the egg collection and embryology at the Woking IVF unit.
The assisted conception unit at Nuffield health Woking (centre 0144) has one of the highest live birth rates per embryo transferred in the country.
